Larme Kei - O estilo que está dominando o Japão

Olá :) Vocês conhecem o estilo Larme Kei? Fofíssimo, é o estilo que vem dominando as ruas de Harajuku e se encontra entre o estilo motokei e o gyaru, apesar de não ser considerado nenhum dos dois sub-estilos.

Muitas modelos gyarus de revistas como a Popteen e a extinta Ranzuki começaram a aderir ao estilo que tem todo um jeitinho fofo e girly, típico das modas kawaii. A paleta de cores em tons pastel lembra muito as influências do himekaji e do motokei.

O nome Larme Kei se originou da revista japonesa Larme Magazine, criada em 2012 pela ex- editora chefe da revista Ageha, Haruna Nakagori. Larme significa 'Lágrimas' em francês e pode ser pronunciado como 'Rarume', em japonês.

Hello :) Do you guys know the Larme Kei? Super cute, the style is taking over the streets of Harajuku and it's something between motokei and gyaru, even though it's not considered either.

A lot of gyaru models from magazines like Popteen and former Ranzuki started to be part of the style that has a super cute and girly mood, very tipical from kawaii trends.  The color palette is very pastel and reminds us a lot of himekaji and motokei. 

The name Larme Kei was inspired by a japanese magazine called Larme Magazine, created in 2012 by former Ageha editor-in-chief, Haruna Nakagori. Larme means 'Tears' in french and it can be pronounced as 'Rarume' in japanese. 

Com a mudança dos estilos de rua no Japão e o clima cada vez mais 'comum' dos estilos tão conhecidos, o Larme Kei é um respiro para hime gyarus, hime kajis e fairies que procuram por um visual mais girly, ainda que mais discreto do que os visuais anteriores! Nem preciso dizer que estou completamente apaixonada e finalmente encontrei um estilo que se encaixa totalmente com o meu mood hime casual *3*

With the constant change of the street fashion in Japan and the ' super regular' mood of known styles, Larme Kei is a breath of freshness to hime gyaru, hime kaji and fairies who're looking for something girlier and more discreet than the former styles! I don't even need to say that i'm completely in love and finally I've found a style that fits exactly my casual hime mood. 

Shiraishi Mai & Saito Asuka

A cartela de cores é bem variada, apesar de manter sempre o foco nos tons pastel, além disso, os tecidos mais leves e transparentes também reinam absolutos no estilo. O mais legal é que você pode adaptar o Larme ao seu estilo próprio, lembrando que o mais importante é manter o ar romântico e doce que faz o estilo ser o que é. Coroas de flores também são sempre bem vindas, assim como acessórios delicados, mas vale lembrar que o estilo não impõe regras e limites, basta encontrar o seu lado mais fofo e apostar nele sem medo!

The color palette may vary, even though it's more focused on pastel tones and also, the fabrics chosen for the clothing are lighter and even more sheer. The coolest part about the style is that you can totally adapt the Larme to your own personal style, always remembering that the most important thing is to keep the sweet and romantic mood. Flower crowns are always welcome, as well as delicate acessories, but it's important to remind everyone that the style does not imposes rules and limits, so you must just look up for your cutest side and go for it!

Os acessórios são bem variados, vale apostar nas coroas de flores, nos chokers peludinhos, colares de docinhos, anéis de coração, anéis de ursinhos entre outras coisas que fazem parte do universo fofo. Novamente, assim como a editora da revista afirmou, Larme é você pegar qualquer que seja o seu estilo e transformá-lo em uma versão mais fofa, então as escolhas são bem livres :) 

The acessories also may vary, so you can try some flower crowns, fluffy chokers, necklaces with sweets, heart rings, teddy bears rings and everything that belongs to the cute atmosphere. Again, as the editor in chief of the mag said once, Larme is about picking your own style and trasnforming it into its cutest version, so you're pretty much free to do as you please :)

Seguindo a editora chefe, muitas modelos da Popteen migraram para a revista e para o estilo: a famosa princesa Amo, a ex-Popteen Reimi Osawa, Watanabe Mayu, ex AKB48 entre muitas outras.

Following the editor, a lot of Popteen models went straight to the Larme Magazine, such as the famous princess Amo, the former Popteen Reimi Osawa,, Watanabe Mayu, a former AKB48 and a lot more girls.

Várias lojas atendem o público larme kei, mas a mais famosa de todas é a Swankiss! A marca é conhecida por fazer sapatos plataforma fofíssimos e acessórios que permeiam entre o fofo e o sexy, mas sempre de um modo bem doce.

A huge amount of stores meet the needs of Larme Kei, but the most famous of all is Swankiss! The brand is known for its amazing platform shoes and acessories that goes from cute to sexy, always in a very sweet way.

Black Diamond Gal Gircle

Olá!! Como estão? Espero que bem! Finalmente estou de férias da facul e do trabalho então agora sim vou ter tempo de sobra pra atualizar o blog *3* Que saudades de todos vocês! Hoje vamos falar sobre um assunto que já não é tão novo assim, mas que voltou a estar em alta neste ano, que são os Gal Circles.  Se lembram deles?

Infelizmente, muitos acabaram sumindo aos poucos no Japão, sendo que muitas gyarus acabaram deixando os estilos mais extremos como manba e banba de lado.  Geralmente, os gal circles eram divididos em grupos, como o das Manbas, o das Kuro gyaru e os das Kogals.


Hello!! How are you doing? I hope everything's all right! Finally I'm in my vacation period (both from university and work) so now I'll have plenty of time to update here *3* I missed you guys so much! Today we are going to talk about a subject that can be considered oldie, but goldie and now returned even stronger this year; Let's talk about Gal Circles.  Do you remember those back in the days? 

Unfortunately,  a lot of gal circles were disappearing in Japan, especially because lots of gyaru ended up leaving the most 'hardcore' styles related to manba and banba,  Usually, gal circles were formed by groups of Manbas, Kuro Gyaru and Kogals.

Existiam dois tipos de gal gircles no Japão:  Os 'Nago Cir', que eram grupos pequenos, geralmente formados entre amigos que seguiam o mesmo estilo...

There were 2 types of gal circles in Japan: The 'Nago Cir', which were small groups, usually formed between friends who enjoyed the same style.....

...E os 'Ive Cir' ou 'Event Cir' eran grupos grandes de pessoas que seguiam o mesmo estilo e organizavam eventos, seleções de membros entre outras atividades.

...And the 'Ive Cir' or 'Event cir' which were bigger groups, where everyone enjoyed the same style, but also organized open events, member's selections and a whole lot of activities. 

Apesar de parecerem divertidos e 'sem regras' todos os circles tinham regras bem claras e as vezes até contratos para os membros 8D

Even though circles sounded like just fun and games,  they were actually pretty serious, with lots of rules and sometimes even contracts between members 8D

Estou trazendo esse assunto para falar um pouco sobre este gal circle japonês chamado 'Black Diamond' que contém mais de 160 participantes que aderem ao estilo 'Kuronba' ou 'Kuro Gyaru', que são nada mais do que uma versão mais suave das antigas Banbas, que por sua vez eram versões mais simples da clássica Manba,


I'm bringing this subject back to talk about this japanese gal circle called 'Black Diamond' that ha more than 160 members who love the 'Kuronba' or 'Kuro Gyaru' style, which is basically a 'softer' version of the Banbas, who were also softer versions of the classic Manbas.

Podemos notar como a make das Kuro Gyarus é bem mais suave que a das Banbas e Manbas, porém a característica da pele bronzeada continua assim como cabelos volumosos e coloridos continua em todos os três sub- estilos, exceto pelos acessórios em excesso das manbas.

We can notice how the  Kuro Gyaru makeup is way softer than the Banbas' and Manba's, however. the tanned/ dark skin and the big & colorful hair remains the same for the three of them, minus the overly acessorized manba's outfits.

As gals do Black Diamond tem ajudado a divulgar ainda mais o estilo ao redor do mundo, lançando vídeos, tutoriais e fazendo diversas outras ações super divertidas nas redes sociais! :D

Com o cancelamento de muitos títulos importantes para gyarus ( tchau tchau Egg, Ranzuki e Ageha daqui a pouco ;~; ), muitas pessoas começaram a achar que era o fim do estilo gyaru, mas calma!

É aí que surgem então as Black Diamond, que estão super ajudando a reacender a chama do interesse do público com seus estilos extravagantes e trazer a essência real do gyaru  que nada mais é do que: a 'contra cultura' da moda, ou seja, um estilo para meninas cheias de atitude e que não estão aqui para deixar o estilo tão cedo ♥


The gals from Black Diamond have been helping to spread the word about the Kuro Gyaru around the world, posting event videos, hair & makeup tutorials, and a lot of different and fun social media activities! :D 

With the end of great magazine titles for the gyaru sub-culture ( bye bye Egg, Ranzuki and Ageha soon enough ;~;) a lot of people started to think that the gyaru movement was dying, but hold on!

That's when the gals from Black Diamond com, and they are most definitely helping to ignite the old fire of excitment over their stravagant style and image, also helping to bring  the real essence from gyaru which is nothing more than: the 'counter culture' of fashion, which basically means, a style for girls with a lot of attitude and that are not here to leave the style this soon ♥

Apesar de estar em alta entre este grupo em particular, o estilo Kuro Gyaru atual é muito trabalhoso e seus penteados ao estilo 'Sujimori' são bem difíceis de se fazer, sendo que a maioria dos membros frequenta salões de beleza para fazer o cabelo e as unhas (bem pontudas). 

Even though this group is very large, the Kuro Gyaru style is actually very hard to follow and hard, because their hair styles called 'Sujimori' can be very difficult to do, so most of those gals attend to the Salon in order to get their hair and nails (very pointy) done.

A loja favorita das Kuro Gyaru no Japão definitivamente é a D.I.A, famosa entre as gyarus por seus cintos cheios de penduricalhos. Esse cinto de correntes desejo chega a ser super caro e já é quase como um uniforme para membros do Circle.

Their favorite store is hands down D.I.A, known between all of the gyaru because of their iconic belts.  This belt is expensive yet stylish and it's basically an 'uniform' begtween the member of the circle.

É claro que apenas um grupo pequeno que faz eventos fechados e tira selfies não é suficiente para resgatar todo o conceito gal, mas eu realmente espero que elas não deixem o estilo morrer e continuem espalhando vibes coloridas pelas ruas de Tokyo e Shibuya :) 

Of Course that just a mall group who makes closed events and take selfies is not enough to rescue the whole gal concept, but I really hope they don't let the gyaru style die and that they keep spreading colorful vibes between the streets of Tokyo and Shibuya :)
